Meet the Residents of Aberdeen Village.
A train isn’t the only thing he’s driving.
Meet Gibson Hart.
At Aberdeen Village, Gibson Hart is part of a real community, where people look out for one another. With the support of neighbors and staff, his 14 feet of model train track have now grown to 120 — and become a holiday tradition. Surrounded by encouraging neighbors and staff, and innovative services on site, Gib grows his own vegetables, announces the card bingo, organizes fundraisers and more. He’s free to keep driving an active, social lifestyle — because he’s secure, with a full continuum of on-site health care, if he ever needs it. Good thing, because Gib’s never been one to sit and watch life go by. Now, a model train — that’s a different story.

A busy schedule isn’t all they’ve gained.
Meet Bob and Mary Anderson.
Bob and Mary Anderson have always loved getting involved — and giving back. Now at Aberdeen Village, they have the freedom to help shape their community even more. Without concerns about home maintenance or long-term health care, they’ve done everything from starting an on-site book club to serving on the Aberdeen Village advisory board, while staying active in their church and volunteer organizations. While filling their day planner, they’re also enriching their independent lifestyle with new friends and new opportunities. Now there’s only one thing holding them back — the number of hours in each day.
